Mr Children - Kurumi

PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO TWICE

Wow, Mr Children rocks and this is one of their best MV. In case u don't understand this MV,

Don't live with regrets. Do the regrets.

Translated lyrics:

Artist: Mr Children

Title: Kurumi (Walnut)

Words: Sakurai Kazutoshi

Music: Sakurai Kazutoshi

tell me, Kurumi

What do you see looking at this city

How do I look to you now?
tell me, Kurumi

When I start to hear the sarcasm in someone’s kindness

What am I to do?
Remembering only the good times

though it makes me feel like I’ve aged a sum

But you gotta be one of the gears

trying to get turning

You can have only as much despair as you have hope.

but still, my heart trembles at the thought of the future‘what’s going to happen?’I try to imagine.
tell me, Kurumi

If time will eventually wash it all away

then life must be a simple affair.
tell me, Kurumi

since then I haven’t cried once

but, neither have I had many good laughs
Somewhere I did up the buttons wrong,by the time I notice, there’s one button leftover

and similarly one button hole, in need of a button

If you find meaning in finding someone then fine

you can have only as many partingsas you do encounters

still my heart trembles at the thought of hope.everytime I encounter a crossroads

I’ll fret over which way to go but…
Eventhough I want more than I have now

I sing for an unchanging lovethat’s what makes the gears turn

with the burden of more than I need, making a dull grinding sound

you can have only as much despair as you do hope

and still my heart tremblesat the thought of the future“what’s going to happen?”let’s imagineyou can have only as many partingsas you do encounters

and still my heart trembles at the thought of hopeguess there’s no turning back,so I’ll go on, to a road without you.

Translator’s Notes: The title of this song is Kurumi like a woman’s name. I suppose there might be some woman in the US named Walnut. But I’ve left it as Kurumi to reflect this.

The greatest joy in life is not seeing youself get married, but your ex-wife/husband getting married.

What is the root of all evil?

Everyone will probably say that money is the root of all evil.
To me, LOVE is the greatest root of all evil.

It is the LOVE for money that causes so much problem.
It is LOVE which causes jealousy.
Sometimes we perform insane actions to protect our LOVE ones.
Rapist exist because they LOVE to inflict pain.
Drunk drivers kill innocent pedestrians because they LOVE to be ignorant.
and the list goes on and on.....
U get the idea now???

I choose to be evil because I LOVE to be evil.

Next time, when u see me being scary and horrifying, please and hide in a corner... cos thats the real me.
Hate me or LOVE me.

Christmas In Singapore

Its the Jewel Box on Mt Faber. If u want to feel a tiny bit of christmas spirit in our hometown, Jewel Box is the place. It a romantic and nice place to chill for couples. There is a huge tower that would light up and some 'snow' in the Jewel Box itself. To top it off, u get the soothing breeze on the hilltop too. Absolutely COOL!

Don't expect too much though, as Jewel Box is just a small place. Coupled with a large crowd, it might bite off some of the romantic atmosphere. =)

I am too lazy to post pictures. Click on the post title and scroll down to view pics. Enjoy!

Why do stars shine?

They shine because of darkness.
I simple love the dark.
